I'd say..
What kind of a red?I'm leaning toward going back with a black frame, with the red tank and fenders. I think the black will set the chrome and polished aluminum off better than going all red.
The red will be a surprise. My own mixture. The black frame isn't for sure yet, it's just that it is so bright, I think it will be to much. What kind of a red?
I'm not a fan of two tone schemes but that's me maybe you'll surprise me

Once the lens is cut to fit up in the slot, and with the defusers on the lens, it should be fine.I think the brake light built into the fender would look great, does your fender wrap around low enough for the brake light to be seen straight on?
I think that's a good idea. Depending on what red you use, too much red can over do it.I'm leaning toward going back with a black frame, with the red tank and fenders. I think the black will set the chrome and polished aluminum off better than going all red.
Just an opinion but I always thought black frame and coloured tins looked like half assed repaint, someone who didn't want to do a complete disassemble..but that's just an opinion, I'm sure whatever ya do it will look great.I'm leaning toward going back with a black frame, with the red tank and fenders. I am not a fan of black frame with colored tins, in my "Humble" opinion, haha, the frame should be the color of the tins, when it's not it looks half ass, remember that's just my opinion, now if you think it's gonna be too bright then maybe tone the frame down a little, just enough where it's just a few shades off, just a thought,I'm leaning toward going back with a black frame, with the red tank and fenders. That's my thoughts too. Maybe I'll shoot it in color first, then decide.Just an opinion but I always thought black frame and coloured tins looked like half assed repaint, someone who didn't want to do a complete disassemble..but that's just an opinion, I'm sure whatever ya do it will look great.
Thank everyone for the respectful honest opinion. I spent last evening looking at paint jobs. I may have to go with a darker ghost flame, to break it up.I am not a fan of black frame with colored tins, in my "Humble" opinion, haha, the frame should be the color of the tins, when it's not it looks half ass, remember that's just my opinion, now if you think it's gonna be too bright then maybe tone the frame down a little, just enough where it's just a few shades off, just a thought,I am sure it's gonna look great no matter what cha do.
That's true although you don't see much of a Harley frame. Usually just the down tubes and it's covered with a bunch of stuffSounds like frames color other than black is an owner preference. 'Most Harleys have black frames and from what I can tell they sell a lot of them. I have seen some big dog paint jobs that would have looked better with a black frame than say, the yellow ones. But this is just my opinion and preference. I'm sure what ever Mr. Wright comes up with will be pleasing to him or he will just repaint to suit.
I agree it looks good! but ya only see a little of the down tube. Swingarm blends in with the black rims and powder coat on engine. On the chopper you see more frame. JMOView attachment 38919 here Ya go Eric. My wife's 11 heritage . Brandy wine candy with ghost flames and a black frame.
