Need some answers before i drop $800+

No way in hell im drilling holes in a fender thats irreplacable... I need something thatll bolt up or i guess im selling the bike to find something that has ready parts... Like a foreign piece of crap yamaha or suzuki...after riding this big dog all the harleys ive ever riden are far from comparison. But whats the point in having a one of kind bike when 1 little slip and its gone for good with no way to bring her back to life because noone makes parts... Youd think with big dog being back in the swing of making bikes that they would throw us some shit that works instead of being forced to fab almost everything for these bikes...

Also, I originally had a Ginz setup on the big bear. It wasn't that bad drilling into the fender. I never really cared for the sissy bar on the bike though. Just didn't look right without the passenger pad when cruising solo. Ginz makes a nice setup and if you get struts with a receiver the can make one for the big dog, Curtis also makes them www.wildsteedworx.com

Calm down and take a deep breath. Your actually in a better predicament than you think. I ride a 2003 Chopper. Your EHC should be Heart. Hope you went back with one. Lots of our parts switch out with Harley and after market company's! The 2003 was the last yr for this. Bigdogpartski aka Derrick & Donna are still around. They do this on the side. They do other jobs too. Very nice people. Call them. If they do not answer Donna will call you back. Now the big shinny billet aluminum above & on the side of your rear fender are your rear fender struts. For a sissy bar they have to be changed out. The new ones will have 2 1/2" holes in the back for your sissy bar to slide into and underneath you will have 2 jam bolts. Price is actually the same as when the 1st big dog co was still in business. There are many parts out there so relax! Btw: where r u located. Maybe we can help you.

Mines a big dog ehc i have to convert it to the thunderheart... Planning on doing that in a couple weeks. Got it tuned up and stuff and is now running like a beast. Still need the back rest but ive decided to just make my struts because they litterally take 10 minutes to cut out with a plasma cutter and another hour maybe to weld all the links in a chain to make the sissy bar. Going to cost me a maximum of 20 bucks... Bought the chain today just need the scraps for the struts and im in buisness. For 300+ for a sissy bar all the companies out there can rot lol... I dont think a sissybar is worth 100 custom made let alone 3+... But will get pics of it when im done.

Getting close... Some round stock for support and and custom plate in the middle that my brother is going to have cut on monday to show my wifes niclname and mine and shes done. Cost me 8 bucks for the chain and nothing for the struts we made... Not a bad sissy for $8 lmao
Looks like that will work.

Just curious you got enough room between the nut/bolt on the inside and the tire? Remember that fender doesn't move just the tire up and down.

Looks like ya might have the clearance just can't really tell from the pic. Just don't want you shredding a tire after hitting a hard bump or fucking up the rim lip

Didnt change anything. Made custom struts that used the baggage and blinker bolts just fine so no modification to the bike

When I went to Cetco mud school they held it at the fire station. That was my 1st mud school. That's when I learned diapers and cat litter are the biggest users of bentonite

Hey bro kuryakan makes a big dog peg adapter for their pegs I think that the part number is 8881 or 8882 but I put them on my bike because I didn't want to spend $600 plus and only have 4 or 5 options. I have 2 different styles of pegs one for everyday riding and one for bike night and everything cost me less than $200. Look for the parts on eBay.
