Spring Cleaning with Shannon

We were playing around with a simple design idea to go with a theme. Afterwards, we showed it to a verity of people from different walks of life, and asked them; "If you saw this on the back of a bike, going down the road, what would your first thought be, on what it represented?" Only one person got it, so it was painted back over.

BINGO, Kevin wins the cookie. Anyway it's back in black, and he's going to look into having a spider airbrushed on there instead. It's a little out of my realm of talent.

We thought about ghosting that spider on there, but you'll just have to wait for his final decision.

Even after 4 years of art class, I'm still limited. Even Sniper's bike, when he showed me what he wanted, I said no, I'm not going to attempt it. As a matter of fact, his tins are at a second paint shop, because the first guy fucked it up.

It's not technically WRONG..not his intention. when you read a book, look at a painting or listen to song you take away the meaning as it's meant to you.

Isn't that what art is all about?

I can never make my mind up anyway. Just gonna stick with black right now anyway. The tins look 1000 times better than they did. It will be super clean and shiny!! That's the most important thing to me.

I dropped off the motor wheels and 21 other pieces of Alu. to the polisher today. They will be ready weekend after next.

I will post pics as he sends them to me. Shannon could have done it but I didn't want to throw anymore on him than I already have. He and his wife have really gone out of their way to help me. I truly appreciate all their hospitality.

I have to agree with ya there. They welcomed the wife and I in, and fed us supper when we passed through their state ! A person would be hard pressed to find a nicer couple than Mr. and Mrs. Wright !!
