New Tool Box

I got some of those socket holders that hold them upright at harbor freight...life savers and I'm frankly pissed I didn't do it 10 years ago. They make the same for wrenches but depending on how yours are shaped they may not fit right. I have also gotten a lot better disciplining myself to pickup ALL MY TOOLS with a rag in hand, wipe them down and put them away when I'm done. The 5 minutes really saves grief later!

I like to keep my SAE sizes and Metric separate myself. Everything I've owned up to this Dog has been metric/Jap bikes so a certain someone will be slowly adding to my SAE tools! I love wrenching on my own stuff. I become one with my machine lol! And when she's not feeling well, I know just how to make her feel better.

The wrenches seem to not slide around in this box. The liner is really grippy. I will swing by Harbor Freight at lunch and take a look at what they have. I was worried that the deep impact sockets where too tall but looks like they might JUST fit. I will take a few pics once I get the box laid out. Then I need to figure out what to do with the rest of my stuff.....

Had those in original box. Went with Hanson trays. I like them except for the oddball sockets (swivels, hex, torx...) I am going to maybe get one of these:

This is my set up at work, primarily standard size tools aside from the smaller ones which I use for foreign diesel stuff and whatnot. But my box at home.is very similar, just a lot more. Them Hansen trays are the best bet for regular sockets and that big tray u see there has a twist lock deal for them sockets that are as what u see in the pic..
