Rear shocks for 2002 Prosport

I am wondering if anyone has found a replacement set of shocks for the rear of the Prosport? The Originals were made by Works and they are out of business. Mine are leaking all over the place. I really like the look and the reviews of the Progressive 412's, but I cannot find which model I need. I called tech support line at Progressive and they told me they cannot help me unless they know the spring rate of the old shocks. They asked me to disassemble the old ones which I did, but there are no markings. The tech then suggested I call Big Dog and ask them, I did but haven't heard back from them. The shock is 13" eye to eye. Anyone have any suggestions?

You have the measurement that you need. Most are adjustable for the weight. Shouldn't be too hard to get a set to work. Post up a picture of the old ones.

I posted a couple pics. I didn't think it would be that difficult either but according to a few people at Progressive, it's not as easy as just picking a length and an offset (mine has none), but they need spring rate and a few other items, but they said spring rate was most important.

You would think a set for something like a dyna would be about the same ??
I expect the big question is weight the Harley closest to your Dogs weight would be the best choice.

Progressive never tested any on Big Dogs why they won't recommend anything, they don't want that liability. Same issue with their fork springs they don't want to recommend.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I called JP Cycles and got a really helpful guy there and he had some specs on them, he said the 99-00 HD FXR was the same style and I ended up ordering
J&P Part: 701-746 for the Progressive 412's Heavy Duty

You could find a local shock guy, take the bike with you and they can set you up perfectly, or rebuild what you have.
