Vibrating Mirror Stems

Need some assistance for my mirrors. I have some nice aftermarket flame mirrors that vibrate loose. Especially on the left side. The mirror itself is fine, but the stem comes loose at the bars. I don't want to over tighten and snap or strip the threads. Anyone else have or had this issue? Any help and suggestions in resolving this is greatly appreciated.

I have not put lead into my bars yet, have the smelter, looking for right inside dia. aluminum pipe to fill with lead. Put when I put my mirrors on same thing happened with left mirror, so put star a washer on them, and they stay put now. If you handle bars move a little, then need to replace bushings with neoprene ones that took care of a lot of the vibration.

Thank you for the suggestions. I did use the blue locktight last night. I put it on around 5pm and let the bike sit and cure for about 12 hours. On the ride into work I didn't have any issues. I will go on a longer ride at lunch and see what happens. Yes I did replace the bushings earlier, I had to use the rubber ones. Those were the only kind that were readily avaible for the time frame. I am not sure about handlebar vibration. SInce this is my first BD, it is hard to tell the difference. Riding the BD and the VTX is different all the way around. I will try and pay more attention. But the bar mod does sound like a good idea, especially for the long rides. Again, thanx to all for the help.

Has anyone tried any of the other cures for vibration. The anti-vibration product you see for sale or any homemade thing you can do. Seen one where someone filled a plastic hose with lead shot, used silicone to seal the ends and inserted it into the handle bars. He said it worked great.
Looking for something to buy or make to help with my hands going numb from vibration.

I started with a good set of poly bushings for the bars, then happened across a set of Vibronic? bar inserts. They pulled most of the vibration out. They dont make this brand anymore but it looks like a company named Fasst makes something similar.

I've had my fill of mirrors, best results from bikemaster sickle mirrors tighten bolt with blue locktite and they never move , had them on my pitbull and now the K9 simply the best aftermarket mirrors imo they offer other designs/models as well
Ive got a set of Wicked Image mirrors on the Pit. Other than normal vibration, never a problem with them coming loose.
