haha...no Paul will like this ridge too much. I know he loves his BigBear but I'm curious to see where he lands after this one.this is very reminiscent of Gas Man's build-up of the "Phoenix", hope you don't sell it when you are finished and buy a (gag) hardly.

I thought I was the only one that felt that way. Love the feedback on the Pit. Lets ya know you are riding.the feel of the road on a rigid machine is just fucking feels right, bad ass! Until you hit that bridge or railroad tracks
Very nice paint jobTins arrived today, I am super impressed with cutting edge. Loving it

Actually hate taking them apart, lol.. I would say after 17k miles in the last year and half I am doing alright for road time. It is and 04 dt frame. 250 rear, one of the guys I worked with bought the ridgeback frame and some other parts but decided not to build the bike. I stripped my pitbull apart and have been converting it to a ridgeback.Paul you love taking those bikes apart..... they have more wrench time then road time.... is that a daytec frame with the 300rear
I still love the softail on the big bear, the big bears frame is dropseat and it really feels like you are in the bike as it’s low grounded. Anxious to see the difference between the ridge and bearI thought I was the only one that felt that way. Love the feedback on the Pit. Lets ya know you are riding.
Thanks I like itVery nice paint job
Well got a call back with a ballpark estimate to have a full install of the Cruz armor, wanted around 900???? It’s basically a full wrap of 3m tape. I can’t justify spending that kind of dough on adhesive tape. I think I will install my own on common hit areas and just live with any chips and scratches. Will post pics, I am working on getting Cruz armor installed on the paint before installing to protect it from chipsI also need to decide on powedercoating and chrome schemes.
Well it matters on what side you put the spacers in on! After shimming the bike about 100 different ways I decided to start over and switch the spacers and sure enough the bitch lined up the first tryWell got a call back with a ballpark estimate to have a full install of the Cruz armor, wanted around 900???? Well if I ever get the front breaks aligned on the bbc it would be awesome. I have changed break pads a shit ton of times and have never had an issue. Going to get a new shim kit tomorrow. I am missing some warm riding time

I wish, I haven’t touched the ridgeback. Just focused on getting the big bear rolling again. Getting sick of sitting in traffic on the 15. Rode the big bear to work today and no sitting in traffic.Did not mean to distract you on your build with the "Ride of a Lifetime"
I think your Ridge would be a welcome addition to the Line Up. I did mention your "hard tail build" to the group and that was what you were probably focused on. Many wanna see an update (paint photos & your arm) especially when I told them about matching paint and tattoos!
Did not know you was such a "Fashion Plate"!
Thanks for the update.Well quick update, not touching the big bear until after the ridgeback is done. Let’s see how long that last
Update on the build: dropped the front and rear struts off for powdercoat going gloss black to match the wheels. Should be back in about 2 weeks and I can start putting the tins on the bike. Will post pics.
I know pretty minor update on the build

Yes it does , hoping to have the build done sooner nowThanks for the update.
Sorry both bikes are down.
AIH had a very similar style wheel and i did see a used set not too long ago. I think they were going for $1200 ?? I'll shoot you a PM if i can come across them.Been looking at allot of wheel options and think I have finally decided on the design for the build. Hoping Santa delivers the wheels. They are damn expensive
A little different from the normal polished look I am used too but that’s what I am going for. Feel free to share your likes and dislikes, to each his own right! Your opinions are welcomed.
