It times off the cam sensor automatically. You should be all set.
I read alot on single vs dual fire there is no significant benefit from what I can see unless your building race engines.I have mine advanced to race curve and love it. But my bike is far from stock anymore as I have a full rebuild with larger bore and it replicates 111 c.i. square motor now. I also just had the carb completely rebuilt but did not have to do anything magic - it was just old and terribly plugged up from a very bad tank of fuel. Mine is also single fire.
Actually, yes. you rotate the cam plate when you set it.I read alot on single vs dual fire there is no significant benefit from what I can see unless your building race engines.
Keep the single fire it works and ride the fucker.
I'd like to know more about how it sets the timing electronically. So you don't need to move the Cam plate to set timing? My 107 will be getting a face lift next

That is great news. I love it when a good plan comes togetherMy Chopper is alive and running.
That was too easy.
It's a 107 S&S
The settings I got on the HI-4N
Mode 5
Advance rate 7
Rev limit 5500
Any suggestions?

You will love the 107. Mine is rebuilt because I had to, not because I was dissatisfied. She has always been a monster on the road. When I had to rebuild, the guys that did it tuned it to run so efficiently, it had no heart but I was getting like 55 mph. It was crazy. When my ignition module went bad, I asked my old school mechanic to do something to get that old feeling back, and the Hi-4N did it in spades.Yeah I did adjust the mixture.
And it sounds great and Idling really nice the thing is a Beast
I don't know the history of this Chopper with S&S 107,
2000 Bulldog model with only 2500 miles on it.
Lucky my Carby was in really good condition.
I did take allot of debris out of the the petcock and flushed the tanks.
I have a 110 and this 107 is so powerful. I love it.
Yeah even after it was running.
I thought that was too easy so I went and moved the module again. Did the same thing but it was in a Different place
And it still ajusted it's self.
I just made sure the light came on solid then locked the module down.
And then made sure it went out when the engine was turning over
And flashing while running.
Adjusted the mixture and it seems better then anything.
if I'm doing something wrong tell me.
After all this trying to get it running again, it turned out to either be two things one the cam pos sensor or the ignition., And ended changing both out in one fowel swoop ,,,,,, finally.
