Don’t know anyone who is using enricher really. Let the bike warm up a minute or two before riding. You might carry a small screwdriver or a pocket knife in tour pocket to adjust the iddle a bit higher or lower when needed. Both my Dogs (107 and 117) stay idling pretty good without any help even cold, I think my idle is around 900 rpm

When starting bike cold it will sometimes idle lower than normal, keep idle speed up with throttle if needed until it’s warm. A few times on startup my rpm lights actually flash indicating idle is two low. I use the throttle to keep it at 1000 and it maintains speed once warm. I’ve never used the enrichener on my K9 but that is not the case for all.

I also have never used the enrichener, starts and idles fine hot or cold. May need to keep tuning or clean the jets in carb

I use the enrichener to start the bike then immediately turn it off and use the throttle, wife gets on and we take off. I keep the RPM's under 2000 for the first 5 miles. I've never left it idle for minutes.

FWIW I talked to my mechanic about this today. He said the 5 minute warm up to get to no enricher/choke needed is expected and if I wanted to ride sooner, I could ride with the enricher/choke on and gradually back it off until it's completely off with no adverse effects.

I think that's just a generic response. Like I said I have never used my enrichener on my ridgeback and it starts and idles fine, even after not starting it for a few weeks. Over time I'm sure you will get it dialed in, as long as your enjoying it mean time..thats what matters

Piece of Cake, three twist of the throttle and off I go after a couple mins at 1500 rpm (cruise-mate).
