Didn't know there was another active member here in Austin. And now you're selling the Dog !!

Do you still have other Big Dogs ? Planning to replace it with another one ?

Best of luck on the sale.

This is my 3rd Dog and I’m sure I’ll have another. Just got done with this build so need some room.
That is a sick ride !!

I can't believe it, but I saw it at Bob's shop - Texas ironhorse Saddles - while I got my 2-up seat redone. I admired it there and would love to see to see it on the road. I really love the clean right-side rear wheel. I hate RHD that prevents that cool, sleek look.

Dutchman - i can't send you a PM, likely security on the site until you have a certain number of posts. I get mine back with the new clutch tomorrow or Friday.

I'm sure you were test-fitting your bike at the seat shop too, so you've seen my bike.

Thanks. I plan on riding a lot and going to some shows this summer so likely you will see me around.

Ok, I have thought about taking a seat to Bob to make a "1500 Mile" seat. Does he do good work? You happy with it?

I am very happy with the seat. Added the gel as well and extremely comfortable. It was great doing a fitting before he covered it as we made some adjustments.

Bob was a good guy to work with. He has his quirks and eccentricities, but overall pretty good. Given his shoestring operation I am surprised the prices are not lower, but in the end he did good work.

I got my solo seat done at Mean City Cycles. The saga is here: http://www.bigdogbiker.com/threads/seat-finally-done.84015/

Bob did my 2-up seat. http://www.bigdogbiker.com/threads/seat-bracket-mount.84138/#post-894037

Bottom line - I did not think either one was a miracle, but I like them both. I can say Bob is the guy if you need custom fitting done - either for you or the bike. I needed both, so he was great for that.

PS - Mean City will not touch real exotic hides. Bob didn't really offer it either, and since I had already gone with vinyl, I just got it to match. I'm not really sure if he would work with hides you provide or not.

I needed a custom pan for my seat due to the 8 out frame and he did a great job making a perfect fit fiberglass pan.
