    Good morning all:

I need some help here in Pa.

I went for a ride yesterday and got only 15 miles.

Engine shut down, four ways started flashing, and horn honked. Turned the ignition key off and then restarted my bike. This happened twice.
Got the bike to the shop and now looking for (*)advice on how to resolve this issue.
(*) Best product to repair and contact of for product.

    Thanks

Pull the ehc and send to Curtis @ Wild Steed Workz. He is a forum vendor. He can test your ehc and then you will know if replacement is required.

Curtis staying in business and supplying what we need is supporting a lot of people in the way that is needed. Deca batteries aren't a supporting business but I bet there's a lot of them in the members bikes. Shenko, Metzler, and Avon ???.

I sure hope dog10 gets the help he's looking for.

check all your battery connections to make sure they are tight -- loose connections will cause that issue on the road.

I use E3's and I started back when I was having real trouble with the bike -- was fouiling out champions in several hundred miles -- put the e3 in and bam -- thousands of miles later the bike still runs. Still have a bit of the issue but that because I havent gotten around to pulling the injectros adn some other things I need to check.

Used to be (back a few years) a dealer in Wormsleyburg, but their gone now. Don't know where their wrench went.

Any chance you're heading to Thunder in the Valley in Johnstown PA 21-24 of June -- Great time.

Good to know -- they always took good care of me there. That's where I bought my first Big Dog.
Mike and Randy always worked with me when I scheduled service since I was 2hrs away! And would ride out early on a Sat for service, even the 10k they spun around the same day for me.

I recently bought the replacement EHC from WILD Steed WORX because field mice chewed my wiring up on the EHC (note use moth balls and mouse poison if you store your bike in your work shop) and it works great. My 2007 K-9 runs better now than when I first bought it. ( No more back firing when I let off the throttle)

The last I heard Randy was at the shop listed above. Randy is a most excellent wrench and quite talented. The shop ???????????????
I found Mike at http://www.freebyrdcustommotorcycles.com/ and he is even better. I trust him with my Dog.
