I am not a fan of black frame with colored tins,:disappointed: in my "Humble" opinion, haha, the frame should be the color of the tins, when it's not it looks half ass, remember that's just my opinion, now if you think it's gonna be too bright then maybe tone the frame down a little, just enough where it's just a few shades off, just a thought, [IMG]I am sure it's gonna look great no matter what cha do.:old2:

That's my thoughts too. Maybe I'll shoot it in color first, then decide.

Thank everyone for the respectful honest opinion. I spent last evening looking at paint jobs. I may have to go with a darker ghost flame, to break it up.

Sounds like frames color other than black is an owner preference. 'Most Harleys have black frames and from what I can tell they sell a lot of them. I have seen some big dog paint jobs that would have looked better with a black frame than say, the yellow ones. But this is just my opinion and preference. I'm sure what ever Mr. Wright comes up with will be pleasing to him or he will just repaint to suit.

That's true although you don't see much of a Harley frame. Usually just the down tubes and it's covered with a bunch of stuff

I agree it looks good! but ya only see a little of the down tube. Swingarm blends in with the black rims and powder coat on engine. On the chopper you see more frame. JMO

I'm picturing your hot red paint job with black frame and I think your bike looks much better with the red frame you have.

I think if the chopper was blacked out engine and rims then a black frame and red paint would look cool.

Plus I'm not painting my bike so I rather let Shannon paint his bike the color I would want! Hahaha

That shade of red is a problem, same bike with that red frame would not look too good either.....
