The company that made these levers, cpimetals.com, went out of business. I bought this set knowing that they would not fit my big dog but in hopes of finding someone with a CNC machine to make them for me. I thought if I had an actual set of the levers it would be easier for the machinist to make them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I would start with your local machine shops if you're looking one off levers. Should be some good ones in your neck of the woods.

I took the stock levers to him today and he already had the new ones. His son is the designer and he is going to show them to him and then let me know what he thinks.

I'd check around and look for a "Makerspace" facility if the local machinst can't do it from the CPI and stock units and see if you could get someone at the maker spaces to 3d scan them and make a set of cad files that could be modified and then CNC'ed.
If you find a big enough Makerspace they could CNC them as well. The one in Philly is insanely equipped.

If you go this route might want to check 2 things first -- does CPI have that pattern copyrighted? and if not see if others might be interested, be just as easy to make more than one set.

    https://www.makerspaces.com/
    http://themakermap.com/
https://nextfab.com/discover/ -- this is the one in Philadelphia -- could probably get everything done here except the chroming!

I have been unable to locate the owner of C P I Metals but I do know that he sold the business and all of his equipment. I would love to contact him and see if he had the program on a disk or a jump drive. That would make my task so much simpler .
Thanks for the tip. I will see what I can find out about about the maker's space.

Just be aware that the copyright is still legally enforce even if the company is out of business (if it was copyrighted).
Good luck. Saw those levers years ago and thought about them but it was too much money for bling for my taste. I tend towards what I need in function.

Cost was the only reason I did not not them when he was still in business. If they had been more affordable I know several of my friends would have bought them too.
