    Sometimes you can have the slightest issue with your VR, especially the stock junk, and not even know it.
    I have had a couple of bikes in my shop with that issue.
    One was going through a battery every two years the other one was replacing batteries every year.
    Both resolved with a quality Series VR.
    Since I do not have a really long track record with those two bikes yet I can only tell you that both are into their third year with the same battery so something was resolved.
    It also has allot to do with just how much engine starting and stopping you go through or how many times the battery is being charged and discharged. Discharging isn't necessarily being done just because you ride the bike.
    Every battery has a certain number of charge/discharge cycles and when it's done it's done.
    If your ride sits in the garage most of the year, and the battery is maintained, then your a good candidate for a seven year battery.
    And I swear Paul I am in no way trying to indicate just how much you do or don't ride......:cheers:.
