Bandit clutch noise

Installed new Bandit Clutch with carrier. Lever is hard as stock... and that noise... I am afraid of riding...

Did you add the spacer? Also did you remove/grind down the ribs on the inside of the primary?

No he didn't shave off the primary cover bosses. The clutch is rubbing on them, I also had to trim down some next to the marked L boss (The star shaped bosses to get the pack clarence). I guarantee your going to have shavings in there. See the pic below as an example...

Thx guys! My mechanic (Harley guy) didn't read Installation Instructions... Primary cover is shaved off...Noise is gone now... but lever is still hard ...no shims under the springs

I'm rather shocked your mechanic released the bike without testing it first. I'm sure he would have realized something wasn't right whith that noise...
