Guess the only issue is he says "used to work" so your really taking a chance. Even at $100 that's an expensive 50/50

Says he can't turn it back on not hard to throw some jumper wires in the connector and hook it up to a battery.

I told him he could take a battery and hook it up to see if the speedo needle will sweep. Have not heard back.

How do you get the blk shell off the actual speedo? I couldnt get mine off, but my three wires felt mounted when I tugged on them.

you have to pry around the top chrome lip around the face, take your time and go slow. but is pretty easy - pay close attention to how it comes apart
