I'm interested in putting the inverted forks on my 06 pitbull and before I contact Donna and Derek to check parts availability... I would like to know what is all involved in this besides the forks and top tree,,,, will my fender mount work? And does the lower tree need changed out or is it the same? Thanks for any input

07 bulldog forks are a bigger size. Derek is probably your best source for info

Kevin, both triple clamps will need to be changed, not sure but I think the fenders were wider on the bulldogs so you'll probably need to either modify yours or get a new fender and mounts also, personally I hated my inverted forks on my bulldog, they were rough as he'll compared to my forks on my mastiff, inverted forks look cool but that's it.

What's on the front of the pit bull now.. the 07 bulldog and Mastiff had the 21x3.5 I believe.

That's what I was wondering cause he may have to go with a wider rim to fit the fender, it's probably a 21x3.5 rim on the pitbull though.

He'll need to get the bulldog fender mounts.

I was reading some old posts from Andrew and the inverted forks used 10w oil instead of the 30w. That has a lot to do with the ride, and prolly different springs

That's also in the manual. The inverted forks should be a good ride. There's a reason why all race bikes use it....

What i don't know is what is the rake in the trees on the bulldog? Same as the Pit?

Yes the pitbull has 21x3.5 already and the new wheels I got are the same size so I may just need the fender mount

I know mean street is out of business.

Skogdog has a set on his k9 they look great but you can't get them anymore unfortunately.

Now don't let that stop you really all you need is internals for wearable parts and I imagine the bulldog uses some generic size springs and seals when it comes time to replace.

That sucks ass cause I just noticed last week that my hardly buddies have 50mm forks on their bikes! Our 44mm look like toothpicks next to the 50mm! I was thinking a set of 50mm would really beef up the front end.
