I don't know if I would do it that often unless your putting the miles on it. I would say prolly every10-12k miles maybe.

So after some research, talking to Curtis@WSW @KaptinAmerika the BDM stator and rotor is a proprietary 24 coil design. The aftermarket/Harley is 12 coil.

The 12 coil rotor is larger diameter than the 24 BDM.

Looking into if it’s possible to grind out the primary to accept the 12 coil rotor. Curtis said he has done it many times so I believe it to be true. I will, update when I have an opportunity to do so.

    BDM 24 coil stator

    Compufire aftermarket/Harley Stator

Compufire aftermarket/Harley Rotor on left, BDM on right.

Please educate me, what is the benefit of having 24 coils? Or is it again just a Big Dog trying to fuck us with genius design

:oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:Calm down little Buddy, it wasn't me. My inventions actually worked for millions of cycles, with that said I cannot say for sure if the some of the terminal Applicators and Hand tools used for crimping the terminals, pins and sockets on the wire's weren't used in the wiring harness's. But no matter what you design for, you can't design for stupid, too many different scenarios there.:oldhardlaugh:

The one machine I designed on has more than 2 billion (not a typo), cycles on it and still running, how kool is that:old2:

Is that the same tool ya used to remove the paint saver ? I believe old Og invented that several years back, while he was sitting out front of his cave, trying to come up with a device to clobber those pesky dinosaurs over the head with.!!
