Factory Frame Protection Tape Removal ???

Before I screw something up, does anyone have any tips on the best way to safely remove the factory frame protection tape from the lower tubes ? This is some of the most sticky / stuck on stuff I have ever seen. Thanks

A little goo-gone. Use it sparingly. A little goes a long way. You might want to get as much off as you can. Use a hair dryer to heat it up and to remove the bigger areas. Theh use the goo-gone.

Thanks, pisssed and Oscar...tried the goo gone already without much success.....didn't think of the WD-40 :bang: - that will probably do the trick!

Well you got me thinking...

and sense I am getting the tank redone this winter lets try it... I tried a small spot on the underside of the tank... it brought up some paint.... YIKES!!!

I'm sure the frame's powder coat will be more resistant!!
