For those that don't know, Gabe is my son-in-law. He wasn't going to do his bike this year, but he want to go to the Gathering, and is a little embarrassed about the way his Dog looks. So he started tearing it down, then realized he didn't have the tools to finished it. So this is what he brought me.

Granddaughter wasn't to impressed at how fast it came apart.

Engine isn't to bad, just a lot of oil leaks.

Gabe's bike was a nasty mess, so I told him to get down here and clean it.

Between Bid Daddy and him, they got it cleaned up and sanded down. I'll start on the body work next week some time. I have a little bit more to do to Dig Daddy's, and have to get started on Shain's.

image.jpg I got one to add. Sniper let Gabe and I barrow his steam cleaner was a huge time saver. Here is Gabe blasting steam!

Stean cleaners are really nice. We have one at work and the EPA made us build a pit for using it and now we have to run the skimmers anytime its in use.

Kind of surprised no has asked what happened with this rebuild. It's safe to say, he didn't make the Gathering. Between Big Daddy's and Shain's rebuild, and the last month and a half of working 16 hour days, I ain't got sh#@ done in my shop.
Well he really wants to make BB&BBQ, so I better get busy.
The last couple days, I got the dings fixed, and primed, resanded, and in base coat.

Looks great! Can’t wait to see the final paint scheme. Gabe got ahold of me last night bragging on it! I know he is real excited!

Nice Paint! That's the blue you showed me up in KS?

Looks good Shannon! FYI, I'm still waiting! But in the long run its better anyways, we both are busy. At this point I'm shooting for this winter!

Keep us looped in on this one!
