Do you have to remove the 2 set screws on bottom then turn the ring to remove

I used 2 sided sticky tape and latex gloves tape really help get a grab on the ring

It also helps to put some anti seize on the ring, Easier if you ever need to get off again

I’m sure some of you have had the sunpie daymaker. Comparing the 2, how much brighter is the Lamonster H4 vs the daymaker?

I have the daymaker now. I love it and the way it looks. But I may just have to give this a go sometime. Brighter/ more usable light is always a plus

I rode with some guys that had the day maker type headlights( off brand) last fall. I rode behind them and I could see the road better than with my headlight.

Does it matter if the LEDs are mounted up and down or left and right?

The H4 mount will only allow it to mount one way, but the Lamonster Led's do have set screws to allow some angular adjustment to get the most reflection out of your adjure
