cool brother. It is done.!
Just when I got use to where everything was on the old format, It all got changed, and I'm still lost half the time. I very seldom ever got on the computer, before I joined this forum. I type at about 4.3 words a minute, and my spelling is horrible. After 4 years on here I've about mastered most of it.
well thank you. I asked chubs this question... but he is not on right now.. When the home page shows: who is on ... and it says: robots ... what is that.?
I believe that it is people that are on a search engine. It's kind of like coming in the back door on here. Instead of typing in BDB.com or what ever our web address is.
4.3 words per minute??? After 4 years hopefully that number has improved,
Great job with the site Tim. I think it's excellent the way it is. Keep up the great work and thanks for the hard work.
I'm a pick and pecker, 2 finger typer I can tell you home many #'s of nails it took to build my house 30 yrs ago but I can't type without looking at the keys, some things will just never register with me.
Damn mathulsilum, do they still sell them by the pound
#9 x 3-1/4 in. 16-Penny Smooth Vinyl-Coated Steel Sinker Nails (50 lbs.-Pack)
Obviously that was before we had these,
and one of these, Damn, you are an old fart ain't cha!
Ya have to learn old school before ya start shootin your workers with those damn guns
When I was an apprentice back in 1983, one of the first things I did was shoot a nail right through my thumb! Yea, it hurt going in, but coming out is a whole different level of pain!
have always gone with hand driven nails over gun nails, guns just do not draw the pieces together like beatin' the shit out of hand nails. and if you try to sink a gun nail with a hammer, you break the glue bond and then they work out if there is a storm. old fashioned all the way. better quality.
I agree with that, and I also never allowed the guys to use them putting the walls together, if you skip off the plate board, the nail is going to hit someone, we only used them for putting down the floor or roof sheeting and of course shingling, If you learn how to use a hammer correctly, 8 penny only takes 2 swings and 16 penny only take 3, its all in the wrist action. Dent should be really good at the wrist action.
Dumb fukjk, no I ain't
I call that accuracy typing that term gives it a nice little spin
Been there done that. Nailed 3 of my fingers together one time.
Damn! Now that's a BIG ouch!
