    When I was an apprentice back in 1983, one of the first things I did was shoot a nail right through my thumb!:dupe: Yea, it hurt going in, :oldwtf:but coming out is a whole different level of pain! :cry: :oldlaugh:

    have always gone with hand driven nails over gun nails, guns just do not draw the pieces together like beatin' the shit out of hand nails. and if you try to sink a gun nail with a hammer, you break the glue bond and then they work out if there is a storm. old fashioned all the way. better quality.

    I agree with that, and I also never allowed the guys to use them putting the walls together, if you skip off the plate board, the nail is going to hit someone, we only used them for putting down the floor or roof sheeting and of course shingling, If you learn how to use a hammer correctly, 8 penny only takes 2 swings and 16 penny only take 3, its all in the wrist action. Dent should be really good at the wrist action.:oldhardlaugh:

    Broke the bone in one, and through the flesh on the other two. I held my hand while the wife pulled it out with some pliers. Washed it out with antiseptic. Taped two of them together, and went back to work. Their not going to do anything for a broken finger at the ER
