    If you adjust like the above thread and it gets loose again, do as Dent said and remove the inspection cover and while you pull the clutch lever in, feel if the primary chain is moving, if it is, your clutch hub nut could be loose.
    Another way to pull neutral at a stop is to bring up the rpm's to 2000 while trying to pull neutral, this often works also

    Got my Bagger in December and it's already north of 5K thanks to the Westward Ho! trip with Blacktopper, Eric and my cousin Curtis.
    The math got more complicated on my 08 K9. The OEM speedo broke for part of a season, so I replaced it with a DD. By my reckoning, it is north of 75,000

    :agree: I can get neutral everytime no issue, all I did was adjust cable to proper specs, start there and move to clutch rod

    7,700 miles 02 pit bull I'm the third owner. First owner bought new in Louisiana then the bike was repossessed some years later. Second owner was a radiologist and he knew nothing about bikes. Told me he purchased the pit bull as his first bike so he could ride along with his Harley buddies. The pit bull Scared him!

    15,600 I average 2 to 3 hundred miles on any given ride and approx 2,000 a season not enough!
