The biggest problem with the dogs other than electrical is engine..
I read threw all the posts on here and I work on them .Including AIH
There is a reason why s&s had problems with the 2 companies.They assembled them inhouse and used other companies crap.
It was good for me because I went threw pallets of s&s parts to fix them all...
They started to make them buy complete for this reason.
The way to fix the dogs.................
shit can all the tp products on/in the motor.Use s&s/jims/andrews/crane/feuling for cam/rockers/boxes/rods/lifters
The noise will be gone and it will run right.dont wait,it will probably happen
if it shoots alot of smoke have it leak tested...rings are missing or trashed
tp products are only good in tp
never had a bad s&s from factory
