Blinker replace 2010 k9

replacing my front led that is burned out and I see the old one had a big gob of some kind of glue holding to the metal housing what is it and what has every one been using to put it back together

After you pull the lens off, the pc board with the lights in it has a rubber gasket around it and all you do is pull it out and unplug the board and replace it. Put the rubber gasket around the new led and push it back in the housing.

A rubber boot goes around the metal housing and holds the circuit board but the is some kind of glue that covers the back of the board it took a heat gun to heat the glue enough to pry it a part

Knows some things
The glue was to hold the heat sink on. Most of them didn't come with that, and really doesn't need to be put back on. But if you just have to, a hot glue gun will work

You seen one of those heat sinks before?

I was wondering what the hell it was? Looked plastic.

However I think what is most important is seeing what you got going on your avatar. Can't see its blurry

I started see the heat sink on the 09's. Why? I don't know, it not like their getting hot. Haven't seen any of the replacement ones with it on there.
