Exactly, I wouldn't have taken it apart again if the damn compression release didn't back out. Threads were stripped. I also think the karata will look better on the longer ridgeback and it gets rid of the stupid split tanks.Now at least a part of the pitbull will breath life again.

ya know, ya make it hard to judge the looks of the forks when ya put a pretty lady in the picture!Did the fork fit up tonight, not quite sold on the inverted forks and may be willing to trade for a stock setup??? If I keep them I plan on re chroming them.

Can't tell about the fork length but Personally I don't like the looks of inverted forks on choppers.Did the fork fit up tonight, not quite sold on the inverted forks and may be willing to trade for a stock setup??? If I keep them I plan on re chroming them.

My bad !!! Lol.. never had inverted forks before and they are long. Granted they will shorten once I put the guts back together and put some weight on the front end. Just wasn't what I had envisioned for the build.

I wasn't a big fan of inverted forks either but they are bullet tipped and I really want to see what the look like with some weight on them. Open to trading for a stock setup.
How long are the forks off the pitbull?Parts for sale soon, planning on selling cheap. Including the pitbull frame. Will post in a separate thread and on eBay.
