Does anyone know how the reed contact (brake light switch right pcb board) on the front brake operates as a opener or as a closer at what tension (6 Volts)?

Sorry I didn't get back to you Hans, I've been on the road all day. That switch is activated by a magnet. Magnet does not actually touch the switch. If it does it will crush the end of it and it'll quit working. To test it put an OHM meter on it and then put a magnet to the end of the switch. Doesn't have to be a strong one. It's not uncommon for these to go bad.
