Screwdriver would not work on mine either. Got a drag link socket (I think that is what you call it) from the local auto parts store to get it loose.

First of all, thanks to everybody for their suggestions.
I went through this weekend on drained everything, checked the lines and cleaned the tappet screen.
I had a good feeling that cleaning the screen and the hoses would have fixed the issue but I was wrong.
I hit start with the seat off and the damn oil cap blew off and came down on my rear fender put little chip in my paint:angry:.

One other thing that I forgot about that coincides with the time I started having this problem is when I put a couple of rubber caps on top of my carb. There was a vent/vacuum on top of the carb where the nipple looking cover had come off so I put a few new ones on there. Not sure my description is so detailed but I hope you know what I'm referring to. S&S site doesn't tell me what that is actually used for and I have no clue.:loony:

The fittings on the top of the manifold and carb are for the head venting used on twin cams and the 05 and new BD's. Your 04 should have the breathers on the two mounting bolts on each head. I would check these to see if they are clogged or if they are not venting if they are still run to the carb backing plate. Still doesn't make sense as the tank is vented so trace the vented oil line and see if it's pinched or pluges. It exits out the bottom of the tank and flows into the motor on the side of the oil pump.
I have a picture of the hose routing somewhere in my gallery.

Here it is, you have pressure building up in your motor somewhere and it's probably the vent line (B) is plugged:
