I ran across what I believe to be a new product by Mothers. It's Mothers Ultimate Mag and Aluminum polish. It's $30 to $35 for a 5 ounce container. I got it in today and polished my front wheel. It's a cloudy rainy day but it looks pretty good in my shop. I will continue to use the Blue Magic on my chrome but I might stay with the Mothers Ultimate on the Billet. A little goes a long way. I just wanted to put this information out there because I think the Ultimate is new. ////Just got back in from doing more polishing. That's the best the billet has ever looked. If it's not a wet look it's right next to it.

I ordered some yesterday. Gonna give it try! Thx for sharing the info!
:chopper:
I really like it. I just stirred it up to a nice paste and used that old Home Owner Mentality, if a little works good imagine what a lot would do. You really don't have to put it on heavy. I never had the Billet polish before they took it off the market and don't know what they charged. The Mothers Ultimate may be the billet polish replacement at a new introduced price. Maybe some of the ingredients and technology has changed. The results are great.

Mr.TreeGuru. If you don't mind, where did you purchase the "new and improved" Mother's Billet polish? On line, auto store? I have been cheap as hell using what I have left of the original Mother's Billet...Thanks. JJ

Reference Mothers 05120 Ultimate Mag & Aluminum polish, I looked but couldn't find a real bargain. I purchased from Amazon for $29.04 plus tax and shipping and purchased other items at the same time so I don't know what the shipping charge would be for one item. Mothers website wants $29.99 and they do offer a 10% off on first purchase. Mothers offers free shipping if you spend $39 or more dollars. I have never had the Billet Polish you could read label and compare the difference in ingredients.//// 3-22-2024 this same polish is advertised on ebay for $74.59 shipped out of Pennsylvania///

I got that from Mothers when it came out last year, it is great. I put it on with the same way as I did with the old Mothers stuff. I use Harbor Frieght Nitrile black gloves, as it does not dry on what you are working, which in turns makes it go farther. After I am done polishing I use a Flannel cloth to polish up to a Chrome finish. I order flat Flannel ben sheets through Amazon, and the shine last all Summer, a little touch up once in a while. You can get it through Mothers, or ask them who stocks it a round you.

My "Mother's Ultimate Mag & Aluminum Polish" arrived today. In my opinion an Outstanding product. About the same amount of elbow grease as all the others, but the final results makes it all worth while. YMMV...JJ

I used the white paste & hand polish normally. BUT I would like to find a spray to use to touch up parts after say a rain shower or something. Kinda of like wax vs spray wax / wash. a lot easier to carry & touch up.

Any ideas?
