04 Chopper Exhaust

Looking to change out my exhaust on my dog. Love the sound of my pipes, but since it blows pretty much right on my back rim...I have to re-polish it about every other to every 3rd ride. Any suggestions? When I bought it, it had skirt lifters on it...had to get rid of those IMMEDIATLY. I don't know what brand is on now, but they are pretty much just straight pipes. Would like to keep the sound, but get the exhaust away from my back wheel.

I´ve seen a few of those "ends" online which you can point in the direction of your choice; down, outwards, etc. If I come across them again I will post the links here. What you will have to do is take the measurements and consult with them the fit.

I have a set of Martin Brother madusa's on my 2003 Chopper and I love them. There loud a shit, they look wicked! Also there was a member here last week selling a pair. Oh ya, exhaust blows away from the bike!

Grumpy's Twisted Sisters. After five sets of pipes, these are the shit. They look awesome on my 04' Chopper. Made my own bracket so they don't mount to the transmission.

Thanks everyone. I really like the look of the V & H BR pipes, but wish I could see what they sould like. I love how loud mine are right now and don't want to lose that...

Yeah good luck finding a set. Got the same pipes and they are bad ass. Not many pipes that fit the older bikes. They are out there you just have to really search. I had to call a shop in Wis to find the correct heat shields.
