Wow, the service departments are really slipping. Took the front wheel from the Chopper to a "respected" Biker service shop. I have used them in the past with minumial issues. They called n said they cant get the tire off the rim. Its too stuck. Its been slow leaking for quite a while so I figured it was time to rectify it. Today wasnt my day. They can't get a tube in or the tire off without cutting it off. Wow, just wow.:oldmad:

Things just don't work like they use to. Today I got the CVO out. So I checked air pressure easy job. I topped off front tire. Tried to add some to the rear it's 35 I want 40. For some dumb reason it won't take air. My compressor has 90 psi. WTF. Could the balance beads clog the valve stem??

Well i guess you might need a tube :/
Apparently they can't get the bead off ?
Something the PO could have created ?

He first tried telling me sombody Slimed it. Its got DynaBeads. Then I told him they were the ones that mounted the tire in the first place. After that is was cut off the tire or just come pick it up. Oie. Guess I'll break down n grab a No Mar.

If it wasnt so high to ship it to me I would get it off for you but shipping both ways would be kinda high...probably cost 65.00 to ship it to me

I about forgot I did one last year, a rear tire...oh my gosh it was crazy...the whole wheel was solid from one side to other with that slim...what a mess on the floor...then had to dig the slim off the wheel...i had a 2 1/2 gallon bucket and filled it up...then I pressured washed it with my commercial steam cleaner...it was a damn mess let me tell ya.

I have actually been thinking about picking up a No Mar myself. Kickstart has one set up in his shop where he can mount it in place for use and remove it if necessary and store out of the way. Well worth the cost if you own more than one motorcycle. Especially with the big rear rims.

It came to me this morning....all they had to do was grab the trusty heat gun n start heating the rim up slightly. Not enough to melt the rubber or distort the wheel. Just enough to soften up whatever is holding it in place. Warm up a spot, break the bead, move over n repeat till its off. Ima just grab a NoMar in a few weeks.

Ah yes! HEAT!! According to Teslicle's deviant to Fudd's First law of opposition,,,, First law states, "If you push something hard enough, it WILL fall over"-- Second rule states, "if it goes IN, it must come OUT"-- Third rule states,, "If you apply enough HEAT to an object, it WILL COME LOOSE" Gotta love science!!

I always thought if it didn’t come apart you were supposed to spray it with the water hose. Ha ha

Yeah , i bought one a few years back .
They have great videos on sight too.

They have a mount option that slides into a receiver hitch . Which i opted for . If i remember correctly it actually lowers the price.
Plenty sturdy, Don't need to dedicate space for it . No messing around putting studs or something in a concrete floor. Your ready to rock as soon you open the box . And it's portable.

I bought a heavy duty duffle bag off amazon and with a little dissasembly fits right in . It's not like your using it daily.

I went with one cause I didn't want to face the day I'm arguing with bike shop over how that $1000s wheel get scratched / gouged.
I can now scratch it myself and be proud LMAO .

I'd take out my trusty air cutting wheel tool. Fuck that no mar shit. A big jaw vice bolted to the bench is better money spent. Love getting the spoons out and scratch/dig/mung my own rims. Run lead weights and screw the beads/goop sealer.
Oie...like a wise man once said: "Why Pay somebody else to fk up ur bike when You can do it for free".

It's a good tool but it's still a bitch doing a 300. After Bigdog 41 and I put the new 300 on my K9 I was thinking I needed a bigger Tool
41 has way more experience using it than I do.
