Looking for some help guys.
Went on a ride yesterday, the bike ran fine to the destination, it was on a trickle charger started great in the morning, when I got to the destination to meet my friends the bike would not start back up it just continued to make the crazy clicking noise and would not start, well a group of about 70 was waiting so we jumped it form a car bat, it started up after couple of tries.
Ran fine for about 3 miles then at 70 mph on decel it started freaking out same type of behavior as an empty tank, the same sound, so i clicked over to reserve even though my tank was full. I have to pull over because the bike sounded like it was misfiring and running on one cylinder.
I pulled over checked the batt connectors, checked the wires, checked the plugs everything was fine. No oil leak, nothing, then after starting the bike up again which it did with no problem the lights went on for the tech they were all on, the bike still was sputtering, to make the long story short, it ran enough to get me home it ran great after 2k rpm and sputtered at 1-1500 first gear was not a great idea, also I started it fine today/
Question is this the dreaded EHC problem because it looks like misfire or timing issue. Also I oiled the K&N filter and cleaned the bike before the ride waterless, if that could have done somehting :bang:
Please let me know what you guys think, I am not a new guy to choppers this is my 3rd one but it kind of sucks when the best looking bike in the group takes a shit.
I hope I dont have to buy a new freakign computer.
