I was about to let the dog out for the first time of the season but got way dissapointed.
I had the battery charged and sat down to start but all i got when hitting the button is CLONK.

The starter engage but motor dont turn over.
I pulled the starter and it does its thing on the bench but when i put it back its the same CLONK
So i meassured the battery when i hit start button and it drops quit a bit so i pulled up my car and used Cables ( yes car turned of ) but still the same CLONK.

Could i still have a bad starter or should i start tearing shit down?

I used my rental car an it had this battery. Should work right?

Thanks but when i hooked up the car battery i removed the Cables from bike battery and hokked up the startercables to the wires directly
And i manually pushed down the comp release buttons.

Ohh i remember now. When i first was fault testing i held on the cr while pressing start and felt them go down
but now after i had them manually pressed they seems be down all the time.
Is that normal on a 06 RB?

Check the connections from the starter, not only on the battery.
If the engine didn't crank, the comp releases don't have any reason to be pushed back up, since there was no pressure, right?
Also, try to crank the engine without the spark plugs if it doesn't spin really strong and the battery is good and connections are good.. the the starter is dead.

I pulled both plugs last night. it still wont turn over.

Your right about the CR, im just seeing gost here now.
Im leaving work early today so il go home and Clean all Connections real good and give a try again.

Its not really about th cr
It My engine/startermotor that is the issiue
When you pulled your starter did you look at the jack shaft to see if it there was any damage? I.e. Cracked or broken teeth. It should be aligned if it was working properly before so I don't think it is an alignment issue, but may want to check to make sure that your clutch hub nut is on tight. I am thinking that if your clutch hub nut is loose then it might not be in alignment with the starter.

The starter looked just fine and spins while on the bench
When i out it back in and hit start i hear a big CLONK and what i think is the plunger go in and grab the gear but then nothing
No sound from anything until i let of the power and then the solenoid Lets go

So on the bench you can see the starter gear push out and spin and then retract?

You pulled the plugs it still didn't spin? Even a weak starter should spin. And you tried that with the car battery?

Can you Jack the rear tire up and put it in 6th gear and turn the motor over manually? Just to make sure nothing is binding?

Should turn by hand without plugs.

Maybe try the car battery and see if it will get the motor to turn over.

It's only been sitting over the winter nothing terrible should have happened.

Is the jackshaft tightened down to the stater. There should be a bolt the screws into the jackshaft. The bolt should also have a locking tab to keep it from backing off.if

No bolt on his 05+ don't have the usual Harley jackshaft.

It's held on with a retaining ring.
