04 mastiff w/300 tire conversion?

Curious if anyone has seen or done a 300 tire conversion on a 04 mastiff?

I think you would spend way too much cheese on it to make it work! probably better off buying a 300m bike....IMHO

Your probably right. I heard on some of the ih you could put a 250 on. So wasn't sure if you could even do that. Told my wife I wouldn't mind only keeping my mastiff for 2 years and then get a newer one with 300 tire and she flipped out on me. Lol

300 tire would require a right side drive and your frame is a left side drive, so on top of the cost of a transmission you would have to disassemble the bike in order to cut and weld the frame to accommodate new transmission mounts. Then the other obvious cost of new wheel, rear swingarm, fender, seat should I go on?
