07 k9 clutch

hi! went for a ride on sunnday [ 35 miles]
clutch was normal then i left the house, after about 30 miles noticed the bike was getting hard to shift. also had a lot more free play in the clutch handle [1 inch]
checked the ajustment on the right side for the clutch ." tight".!
is this what happens then the clutck baskets brakes,
have not pulled the prim. cover of yet, may have time this sunday!!!

the basket on the '07 is not the one that has the problem breaking. it should be the new design with the beefier web. could just be the hub nut has come loose.

as wood said! check the trans nut..if its loose...red loctite and tighten to 100 ft lbs.
