I am still at a loss everytime I change my oil, it never shows up on the dipstick. manual says 3.75 qt to fill, checking on the kickstand. I scavenge into a empty oil container so I know how much I take out, i add all but 1/2 qt start, run then add the last half bringing my total to a full 4 qts and still nothing on the dipstick. I am wondering if I have the correct dipstick. Bye the way AAAARRGAAAARGAAAARG to all you dawg owners out there.:2thumbs: Now damn, how do you ask another man how long his stick is :bang::bang:and not get jumped on by the masses, but hell I need to know.

My 2011 Pitbull manual says to check the oil at operating temperature with the bike level. At the 500 mile service by a BDM technician, they put in 3 quarts of oil.

:loony: :loony: :loony: shit man I am missing something here. Did the newer dog come with a dip stick. My 2006 Mastiff does not have an oil dip stick. It has one for the tranny. The only other dip stick or dip shit on my bike is me when I ride it  Interesting

Oil level of the 08 Pitbull has to measured with the bike on kickstand and oil at operating temperature.

With the engine warm oil level will rise ;) .

I had to add a little oil as the 3,75 quarts were not enough.

Hope this helps you
