Recently acquired 2005 Chopper 117 inch. Absolutely love it. Need a service manual so I can keep her going.

Just a thought, your Chopper was most likely a really late 04/really early 05. If Im not mistaken the late 04's had the 117 as that was the motor for the 05's n up. Thats why she looks like an 04 but walks like an 05.

Right on. Do you know if the titles back then listed the make as assembled and the model as custom rather than as a Big Dog Chopper.? Because that is the way my title reads and I'm having trouble getting full coverage insurance for it. I messaged big dog with the serial number and ask them but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Title should say BigDog with the model listed as well. UNLESS it was wrecked and re-titled as "custom" due to rebuild? Do a VIN search and you will know for sure.

Sounds like the bike may have a salvaged title. This may help you figure it out.
