2006 Big Dog K9 wiring

So long story short, my next door neighbor passed away and left this bike to another friend here across town. the bike hasn't ran in years. It quit working on my late neighbor before he died And he let someone or a few people have a go at the wiring. And it's just a mess so I need to know what wires go. What from the neck down? They seem to be original wires from the handlebars and the neck.

If you aren't familiar with these bikes, handlebar controls are ground activated not power (like harley etc). An issue is the PCB (circuit board in handlebars) having issues resulting in people trying/hacking at the wiring to try and get working. There are some videos on how to diagnose the boards.
As @Mikeinjersey said critical to have a good battery (and new doesn't mean good) a lot go to the DEKA. Then suggestions I would have are start chasing wires (recommend multimeter) making sure no cut between EHC to handlebars/PCB through the main/backbone harness under the tank. All the connections for the headlight and bars are under the tank. Finally headlight is required on these so if your headlight (or harness) is bad the EHC won't process and run...also some of the H4 (headlight) connections were bad and melted causing this problem.

Your bike was been re-wired to a completely NON-STOCK setup
Looks like someone did an "OLD SCHOOL" wiring setup as best they could (not very cleanly installed by appreance in pics.
Also you show a VFI (Electronic Fuel Injection module) but your vin says bike is an 06 and efi didn't go into K-9's till 08 (thats why I got an 08 originally as I wanted EFI)
Take some more pics of the bike so we can see more and maybe we can be more help.
What is the current problem you are having? Other than wanting a wiring diagram.
The BADLANDS unit is the run/brake/turn signal control unit and you can get the wiriing inst from their web site

Agree with @Jersey Big Mike, you have a choice of either trying to put it back to stock (wiring diagrams you have above) and likely buying the harness (and like EHC) to put it all back together. Or if you can give us some of the symptoms you are seeing and want to keep the wiring (for the most part) you currently have.
What controls (handle bar) do you have, and also are there any other switches on the bike?
