With this adapter should this air cleaner work? 05 117 e carb

Yes it should. I actually have that adapter on my 09 Bulldog Bagger with a Roland Sands air breather on. The only thing is it will push the air breather out between .5 and an inch. So make sure you have plenty of leg room or you may end up riding with your leg right on the air breather.
