Hello my name is Noreen. Jersey Big Mike and I lived together in Murrell's Inlet SC. He spoke of y'all like family. I'm trying to collect my thoughts. A neighbor did a welfare check and he was found in his bed after passing peacefully in his sleep a few days ago. He didn't have any blood family. All I know are his finally wishes. Which brings me to the reason I'm reaching out. I can be reached at 267-333-6035 The owner's of the Acme bar in Murrell's Inlet and I are trying to figure out how to handle his affairs. All I do know he told me our former neighbor Rich was in charge of his extensive computer equipment. I want to respect Mike's wishes as best I can. If anyone knows anything. It'll help. My heart is breaking that he's in a morgue while Kris, Bill and I are trying to figure it out. He deserved so much better than this. Thank you

Talked to Noreen and she is going to keep me informed since she not real familiar with the forum process. She mentioned specifically some stories but she didn’t know the names . Rosile wright was the first with her snickerdoodle cookies that apparently everyone in his circle out there knew as snickerdoodle lady . Harry was second with his mail order brisket which he shared with his friends there. I think there will be specific reqjests later .

Looking forward to retirement
WOW, we spoke a couple of days before Christmas. This is a huge blow. The group lost a major spot that with his personality will never be replaced. All I can think of is Mastiff Dave giving me a package back in Dec from Mike. I opened it and looked at Dave and. Said he’s making Barbie Saddle stands . Dave bent over laughing, took his sunglasses off and put them on the stand. Being on the rodeo circuit for 25 yrs it looked just like a miniature saddle rack. Mike had the heart of a lion and I enjoyed every conversation with him. Mike you will be deeply missed!

He always hated for people to take pictures of him..but I told him.. one day that's all we will have. He didn't like that logic. But he did it for me..bc I'm sneaky! Love you Jersey Mike thank you for always being a honest guy and for being such a giving person. Smart. Witty & talented especially with tech & computers.

Knows some things
WOW, you never know. Glad someone was able to get a good picture. He was always there just not in the picture. He sent Rosalie his mother's cookie jar, because he loved her snicker doodles so much. All the gifts he gave over the years at the Gatherings will be great reminders. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Big Mike and his friend Noreen. Big Mike always had stories to tell of
things that happened to him on his trips to and from Arkansas. Boy, did he have a lot of stories to tell!!!
Every trip had multiple incidents of motorcycle breakdowns, restaurant issues, hotel reservation issues,
road construction delays, and weather related encounters. He loved to tell the stories with all of the details.
He was a big man with a big heart. He always appeared gruff on the outside but he had a heart of gold and
would help you out with anything you needed. He and his bigger than life personality will be missed by all
that knew him. Rest in peace Big Mike. Your motorcycle journeys have come to their end.
