I just got the Bandit clutch and I have a few questions not covered in the install sheet.
1: The new carrier has a bearing already pressed in. Is this the right size for the clutch hub to be pressed in?
2: Do I reuse the screws of ring gear basket to bolt to the new carrier?
3: The throw out bearing has a snap ring that the service manual states to discard. Can this be reused or are these readily available at an auto parts store?
4. The install sheet states to use Spectro oil. I have seen in threads to use Amsoil severe gear lube or Trick shift. What oil should I use in the primary.
5. There are several measurements that involve a dial indicator, did you have to do this or did this clutch bolt right in?
I know several of our members have installed this setup without any issues. I appreciate any help that can be sent my way. I plan on installing this in the morning. We have a repatriation ride with the PGR for a Vietnam vet back home to Greenville SC and I need to get my K-9 back on the road ASAP. :flag::flag::flag:
