BATTERY QUESTION

Is it at all possible that the battery would be strong enough to turn the dog over but not provide spark? The reason I am asking this is I have never had a problem with my 04 Chopper until yesterday. It always started up and always ran great. Never backfired or stumbled at any speed. I have rode it rain...(when I had to) and high humidity. Since it is summer I have not had it on the battery tender. I went to work in the AM and when it was time to go home I got it and turn the key....turn the gas on....hit run....then start. Turned over like always but wouldn't start. Tried a couple of times. So I checked for spark and no spark. So I pushed it into the building and left it there overnight. The next morning I went back to work with some basic tools. Before I did anything I tried to start it and it fired right up. Not sure what to do. Checked all the wires the best I could. Tried the search on here but didn't seem to find anything that would relate to my problem. Was hoping someone could shed some light. Thanks!

Sounds like a intermittent wire somewhere. I'd check connections at the coil first.

Or could be a morning bike not afternoon.

Start with replacing the spark plugs and cleaning the coil connections. Try eliminating one thing at a time to get to the bottom of a problem is my motto.
