Ok my 2004 chopper S&S 107,has all new. RIP wiring ,all new Moduse, all new circuit boards in both right and left handlebar..
WOuld start bike let it warm up and go for a ride sometimes a few blocks other times 1-2 miles and then just die, this happened from 2-4 times and then you could ride for another hour and no problem rest of the day…
Checked everything three times all connectors good all wires no shorts everything works great..i decided the only thing left was the thunder heart box and the can sensor plate in the nose cone….ordered a new one from BD and it didn’t have the white connector for the RIP connector, so i cut the wires about 2 inches long from the original plate soldered in the new plate and used shrink tubing on all joinuts and wrapped with black tape and installed..
Bike started right up and rode for two hours today with no problems at all. There was the fix and bike back on the road…Varoom Varoom…
Just another note i did run the test on the old plate and it failed the last tow tests. It was bad…..
Guy might try this first and save an EHC? But got my bike back on the road for $70.00. Yahoo…..Locodriver999@yahoo.com
