Brake help.

Just replaced the front brake pads on my 04 mastiff, simple job. I removed the caliper in order to polish some of the harder to reach chrome. I got distracted and let the shims fall off before I saw there placement. 6 total, all but one of the same thickness, I placed it back on the upper mount bolt, seems to work fine but wondering if anyone know for sure where they go? Thanks in advance guys!

shimming your caliper

Talked to performance machine once just to get the right way to shim.
They said because there are so many diffrent set up's out there, a good rule of thum is to keep the seam in the middle of the caliper even with
the center of your rotor.
