any help, schematic etc. greatly appreciated, waiting for service manual. 2001 pitbull and the brake lights are always on. there is some evidence of previous owner(s) monkeying around with the rear light connector and wires under the seat and the front signals have been removed.rear turn signals and running lights work, thanx in advance, g.

Thanx Mobsta, I did disconnect the rear brake switch and there was no change. In reading several brake light related posts I came across a lot of info concerning the front brake and its magnet and sensor set-up, but couldnt find any of this set-up on my OLD Dog's front brake lever assembly, of which I am TOTALLY unfamilar. Are all BDM front brake levers of this design magnet/sensor, and I am not looking in the right place ? Thanx, g.

i believe the models before 04 had harley design controls,if thats the case look at where the lever pushes a plunger into the control, looks like a little button

Any resolve? My tail lights stay on all the damn time.. turning signals work. I took my bike to a "mechanic" on base he decided to cut wires instead of fixing the problem. had the mother F@#$# replace the shit he damaged. I am still having this problem. he replaced the hand control board I check the sensor in the handlebars. I looked at the rear brake line and there is a wire that was cut I wired it back together and added some heat shrink to it. the only other thing I can do is follow the wiring all the way back to see if there is anything frayed. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO BUY THE FURY..
