Cam Sensor??

Just finished installing wire plus and it seems like the problems will never end. Just fixed the PCB problem and was cranking the bike over (with spark plug wires off -haven't run the bike in a while and wanted to get the oil up) reconnected the spark plug wires, started cranking to see if i got spark, no spark, then I noticed that the light on the thunderheart stayed on and it will not crank any more. Disconnected the wires leading down to the cam sensor and the light goes off but it still won't crank. Did a continuity test on all cam wires and they are fine. Does anybody know if a short in the cam sensor would cause the light to stay on? Also, if you disconnect the cam sensor wires shouldn't the bike still crank?

I'm on the road but do a search for "troubleshooting tree" in the subject. Have you checked to see if the coils are getting power?

Sounds to me like you ran the battery in the ground. The bike should crank with or without the cam senor wire connected. It will not start if its disconnected but should crank. You have not started your bike in a while, do you keep the battery on a tender and how old is you battery. I would start with the Battery and see what voltage you have before you attempt to crank if over. Maybe have you battery load tested and see what kind of power is has. My thoughts could be wrong, but that is where I would start.
