Can you lower a 04 Mastiff?

I am new to custom bikes (actually my mastiff is my first bike) and curious if there is any way to lower an 04 mastiff. I asked big dog and they said that they have no provisions to lower it. But curious if anyone else knows how to do it or if you can?

Yes you can but you have to change your shocks. The 04 models did not come with adjustable shocks however in 06 they did. You can buy a set of works,progressive, or any other brands that have adjustable length. You can also go with air ride but that will cost much more. The cheapest way would be to watch ebay for some works adjustable shocks from an 06 or newer models that shovelheadkicker sells.

Yes but realize that a shorter shock means shorter travel which means rougher ride and less weight capabilities or possible bottom out on the bump stops. Also I changed my post to model years 06 and newer. Rawood pointed out that the 05 models were non adjustable as well. If you want that type of adjustability then the airshocks would be the way to go for you.

you could look at the Ted Tine website for their adjustable shocks. I might have got some of them if they would fit my 05 Bulldog.
