cdcmike needs a little info on his tach

Hey all, hope everyone is having a good 4th. I do need alittle info on my tach. 01Mastiff I have three wires running from it to the ingnition. One black that is on ground right now. One red that runs to the ingnition, I think is the hot for the light. One green wire that right now is not hooked up. I did hook it to the top side of the coil, and the tach still did'nt work. Any words of advice

The service manual for 1999-2001 says the tach wiring is as follows,
Red to red/black from key switch
White to green/white from main harness
green to yellow from coil

On 2002 models, there is a green wire from the cam sensor to the ECH, green out of
the ECH to the tach.
