Chain drive sprocket help

i need some help.. it mite be a simple thing but i cant get it... .I have a sprocket brake on my Mastiff. Im changing both gears and chain. problem i have now is when i torque transmission sprocket, the lock washer holes and gear hole doesnt line up for lock screw ! so my question is.. how do i keep washer in place while i torque nut? i have a few pics to show what i have...

(btw this set up was done before i got bike so i got new sprocket to match EXACTLY what i had before, even down to same part number)

Try an allen head set screw. Screw down into the sprocket till it's flush with the washer. After nut is tight remove and replace.

thanks Erl , but the boss here at work had same idea .. here it is. i appreciate help/ this should work great. and i can have 2nd retaining screw as well.

Yup even two set screws to help looks good. :2thumbs:
