Quick info of problem- bike will not start after cleaning starter contacts. Bike ran just before this cleaning contacts in starter. I used sand paper to clean contacts and plunger put plunger back in with spring and cover and three bolts tried to fire up the bike and bike tries to start. Battery is new and didn't wash bike. Anything I maybe missed? Thanks for all replys :bang:

Make sure you re-connected the green "starter" wire and it has a good connection. When you pulled your battery terminal wires make sure you got all of them back on.

also if you removed the main power connection from the battery to the starter.. when you reconnected it.. make sure the lug didnt rotate on the inside ...

Thanks for the replys. I was tracing back on what I had did. Removed the spark plug wires. Disconnected the battery. Cleaned the contacts on the starter. Put everything back together. Duhhhhhh forgot to reconnect the spark plug wires. Damn I admitted I did it. Good to go.
